Sadagaat Charity Organization has completed the Al-Alawiyab Al-Samra Water Station project in Bahri Locality, Khartoum State, with support from Sadagaat-USA. The project aims to improve access to a sustainable water source for approximately 6,000 people in the local community.
The project included drilling a 280-foot deep groundwater well and installing a 7.5-kilowatt solar power system to operate a 10-horsepower submersible pump. It also included the construction of a 1,600-meter water transmission pipeline, as well as fencing and protective works for the station.
The project provides the community with a sustainable source of water, helping meet an essential need, improve living conditions, and contribute to greater stability for local residents.
