Sadagaat’s Education Sector supports children and learning environments in Sudan, with attention to children outside school, children at risk of dropping out, the blind, and educational staff capacity.

Through its programs in the education sector, Sadagaat seeks to contribute to improving educational services by focusing on children who are not enrolled in schools, the blind, improving the educational environment, building educational staff capacity, and providing opportunities for professional education.

Education is the cornerstone of development, and the success of development in any society depends heavily on the success of the educational system in this society.
The educational process in Sudan suffers from many problems, most notably the presence of children in the school age outside of schools, and those who go to schools are at risk of dropping out of education.
Children need access, safe classrooms, and support to stay in school.
The official Education Sector identifies children outside school, dropout risk, overcrowded classrooms, deteriorated buildings and health facilities, and weak educational resources as core challenges.
