Sadagaat Charity Organization is implementing a support project for Al-Dabba Central Hospital, targeting internally displaced people and the host community. The project aims to strengthen the hospital’s capacity to provide quality healthcare services and improve its response to the health needs of the targeted populations
The project includes the rehabilitation of several hospital wards, the blood bank, and the laboratory, as well as the establishment of a dedicated inpatient ward for the management of severe acute malnutrition with complications (SC) and the provision and procurement of essential medical and laboratory equipment
The project also includes the installation of an oxygen network and a solar power system to support the continuity of healthcare services, in addition to furnishing the hospital, strengthening the medical referral system, and supporting the inpatient treatment center for severe acute malnutrition
As part of its capacity-building component, the project provides training for healthcare workers on Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), as well as training for doctors and nurses in intensive care and neonatal care, contributing to stronger healthcare capacity and improved quality of patient care
The project forms part of Sadagaat’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the readiness of health facilities and support the continuity of essential healthcare services, helping improve access to healthcare and respond to the growing needs of internally displaced people and host communities
