The project targets Dongola Block 24 in the Northern State, where the area suffers from a lack of clean, safe, and sufficient water to meet the needs of residents and newcomers. This shortage is due to the targeting of electricity stations in the Northern States, which went out of service and consequently affected water supply for both households and public services.
The project aims to provide access to clean and improved water sources to help meet the pressing needs in Dongola City by installing a solar power system to operate an 18.75 kW submersible pump, along with fencing and protection works.
