As part of its efforts to strengthen the health system, Sadagaat Charity Organization implemented a medical oxygen distribution network at Shendi Teaching Hospital in River Nile State, with support from GiveLight Foundation through Sadagaat-USA. The project aims to strengthen the hospital’s readiness and improve the availability of medical oxygen in departments caring for patients with critical needs.
The distribution network covers the pediatric and adult intensive care units, as well as two neonatal nurseries, with a total of 45 medical oxygen outlets, enabling oxygen to be delivered directly to critical departments within the hospital.
The project contributes to strengthening the continuity of healthcare services by improving the availability of oxygen in critical care units and supporting medical teams in treating patients who require oxygen therapy, particularly children and newborns.
The project is part of Sadagaat Charity Organization’s efforts to support healthcare facilities, strengthen their readiness, and improve patients’ access to more continuous and safe healthcare services.
