Rehabilitation of Children’s Wards in the Kidney Unit (Noura Center), Soba Hospital 2019

The Noura Center at Soba University Hospital is the only government center in Sudan that performs FREE kidney transplants for children. The center contains a Hemodialysis unit and peritoneal dialysis unit. The center faces many challenges and difficulties that prevent the increase of transplant operations and reduce the number of children ready to carry out transplant operations on the waiting list to be able to continue their normal lives and enrollment in education is represented in The high cost of medicines in the event of any complications for children and the limited capacity of the care room after the operation (It contains one bed).
Sadagaat Charity Organization works to rehabilitate the unit, where the need was identified by the hospital administration (rehabilitation of 3 wards for the children who underwent kidney transplant surgery and the provision of its own medical equipment).
