In this context, Sadagaat Charity Organization distributed 100 food baskets to families in Bahri Locality, Khartoum State, with support from Penny Appeal.
This initiative reflects Sadagaat’s continued efforts to strengthen cooperation with supporting organizations and bring partners together to reach more families across Sudan and help them navigate the challenges they face.
A total of 612 students have sat for bridging exams in the localities of Al-Dabbah, Al-Burqiq, and Halfa in Sudan’s Northern State, marking an important step toward returning to formal schooling and continuing their education.
The Bridging Program helps children who have been learning through online platforms transition to formal education by assessing their academic levels and determining the appropriate grade for each student. The program is supported by UNICEF Sudan and Sadagaat-USA.

Sadagaat Charity Organization has inaugurated the Al-Uhaimir Water Station in South Al Jazirah Locality, Al Jazirah State, with generous support from the family of the late Professor Kamal Abbas Saleh, may he rest in peace. The project aims to strengthen water supply services and support their sustainability for the local community.
The project included the installation of a solar power system equipped with a 7.5 kW inverter to operate a 10-horsepower submersible pump. It also involved rehabilitating the elevated water tank and supplying and installing a protective fence around the station. These improvements are intended to enhance operational efficiency and support the continuity of water supply.
The inauguration reflects Sadagaat Charity Organization’s ongoing efforts to support water services and address the essential needs of communities through projects that improve access to water and contribute to the sustainability of water sources.
Ms. Hiba Jaafar, representing the Education Office at Sadagaat Charity Organization, participated in a forum organized by the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE), in collaboration with Kenya’s Ministry of Education and the University of Nairobi, from 13 to 15 October 2026.
The forum explored ways to shift power dynamics within the Education in Emergencies (EiE) ecosystem, with a focus on strengthening the role of local actors in setting priorities, making decisions, directing resources, and leading education responses that reflect the needs of communities affected by crises.
The importance of these discussions lies in recognizing that sustainable educational efforts require more than the provision of services and resources. They also depend on strengthening the role of local actors, drawing on their expertise, and ensuring their meaningful participation in shaping solutions and decisions that directly affect their communities.

Sadaagaat Charity Organization has concluded the second round of its training workshop on teaching strategies for facilitators under the Bridging Programme in Gedaref State. The workshop brought together 28 facilitators from 28 centres across six localities in the state.
Implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and with support from UNICEF Sudan, the training aimed to strengthen facilitators’ skills in teaching methodologies, classroom management, and active learning strategies. These skills will help them create more effective learning environments that respond to children’s educational needs.
The training forms part of the Bridging Programme’s efforts to support out-of-school children in transitioning from e-learning centres to formal schools, enabling them to continue their education and integrate into the formal education system.
The programme is expected to support the integration of approximately 2,850 learners into formal schools, expanding access to education and helping children sustain their learning journeys.

At Al-Khogalab Girls’ School in Khartoum State, Sadaagaat Charity Organization distributed 593 school bags to primary and intermediate school students, with support from Sadagaat-USA.
The initiative aims to ease some of the financial burden on students’ families and provide essential supplies to help girls continue their education. By addressing some of their school-related needs, the initiative supports their continued learning and helps them work towards their aspirations.
