Sadagaat Charity Organization Inauguration of the Rehabilitated Al-Baghdadi Lecture Hall – Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum 2 August 2026
Sadagaat Charity Organization inaugurated the newly rehabilitated Al-Baghdadi Lecture Hall at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum, following the completion of its rehabilitation works. The project was generously funded by Dr. Mohamed Nagd Mirghani through Sadagaat-USA. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Ali Ahmed; the Acting Director of the University of Khartoum, Dr. Mahmoud Ali Ahmed; the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Abdul Samee Abdullah Mohammed; as well as university leadership, faculty members, administrative staff, students, and reconstruction partners.
With a seating capacity of 380 students, Al-Baghdadi Lecture Hall is one of the Faculty of Medicine's principal teaching facilities. The rehabilitation project included comprehensive structural and architectural works, plumbing and electrical upgrades, and the installation of a modern audiovisual system featuring an interactive display with remote-control functionality. The project also included the installation of a 35-ton central HVAC system, landscaping works, rehabilitation of the external canopy, and the installation of a solar power system, creating a modern, fully equipped learning environment.
This project reflects Sadagaat Charity Organization's ongoing commitment to strengthening the education sector and supporting the restoration of educational institutions. By providing medical students with a modern and conducive learning environment, the initiative contributes to the continuity of quality medical education while supporting Sudan's broader recovery and reconstruction efforts.
A generous act of giving, inspired by the belief that providing clean water is among the greatest forms of charity, has brought lasting hope to an entire community. Through the generous donation of Um Ali, may Allah grant her good health and a long life, Sadagaat Charity Organization inaugurated the Al-Kardab Al-Wahda Water Station in East Nile Locality, Khartoum State, creating a sustainable source of clean water for local residents.
The project included the supply and installation of a 7.5 kW solar power system to operate a 10-horsepower submersible pump, the rehabilitation of the elevated water tank, and the construction of protective fencing and security measures to ensure the long-term sustainability of the station and reliable access to safe water for beneficiaries.
This initiative reflects the lasting impact of charitable giving in improving lives and strengthening communities. We pray that Allah accepts this contribution as Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity), places it in the donor's scale of good deeds, and allows its blessings to continue benefiting people for years to come.
With support from UNICEF Sudan, Sadagaat Charity Organization inaugurated 17 Electronic Learning Centers across North Kordofan State between June and July 2026, in partnership with the State Ministry of Education and the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC).

With the inauguration of these centers, the total number of operational Electronic Learning Centers in North Kordofan has increased to 22 out of the 30 planned centers, expanding access to education for more than 1,500 students across the state's localities.

As part of the Al-Dabbah Hospital Support Project, and with funding from the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF) through Alight, Sadagaat Charity Organization provided office furniture to Al-Dabbah Central Hospital in Northern State.
This support forms part of the organization's ongoing efforts to strengthen healthcare facilities and enhance their capacity to deliver quality health services to the communities they serve.
Sadagaat Charity Organization inaugurated the Al-Nabti Water Station in East Nile Locality, Khartoum State, with generous support from Droplets of Mercy through Sadagaat Canada, as part of its ongoing efforts to provide safe and sustainable access to clean water for communities.
The project included the drilling of a 600-foot groundwater well and the installation of an 11 kW solar power system to operate a 10-horsepower submersible pump. It also involved the construction of a protective perimeter fence and other safeguarding measures to ensure the station's long-term operation and sustainability.
The inauguration of the water station will significantly improve access to clean water for local families, easing the daily burden of collecting water. More than just a basic service, the station represents a source of life and hope, bringing joy to children and adults alike. It marks an important step toward improving living conditions, restoring dignity, and building a more resilient future for the community.
Every skill a girl learns today is a step toward a more confident and independent future.
At the Girls' Club at Aitrba Electronic Learning Center in Agig Locality, Red Sea State, 20 girls are taking their first steps toward learning sewing skills through a training workshop organized under the Safe Spaces Project, with support from UNICEF Sudan.
The workshop transforms a desire to learn into practical skills, skills into opportunities, and small steps into dreams that grow stronger every day.
