As part of the Protection Project in Northern State – Halfa Locality, and with the support of UNICEF Sudan, Sadagaat Charity Organization trained 50 participants through the “Community Protection Networks Training Workshop” to establish five Community Protection Networks in the following neighborhoods:
(Lake District, Works District, Second South District, Fourth District, and Al-Mourada District).
The establishment of Community Protection Networks aims to:

Provide a safe and healthy environment for children within neighborhoods.

Monitor cases of violence, neglect, and abuse and intervene early to address them.

Raise community awareness of child rights.
-
Facilitate children’s and families’ access to essential services.
-
Strengthen cooperation and build trust with community members.
-
Ensure rapid response to any risks threatening children.
-
Reduce rates of violence and neglect within the community.

Provide local communication channels for reporting and coordination with relevant authorities.
