As part of its health sector efforts, Sadagaat Charity Organization concluded the activities of the “Early Warning and Response System (EWARS) Workshop” in Dongola Locality, with the participation of 20 trainees. The workshop was supported by the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF) through Alight Organization, in partnership with the Ministry of Health in Northern State.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the system and its importance in epidemic surveillance and emergency health response. It focused on building their capacity to efficiently input, analyze, and report data.
Additionally, it sought to enhance skills in early detection and rapid reporting, support evidence-based decision-making, ensure continuity of reporting systems during crises, and encourage coordination between health and community actors to achieve an effective and integrated response.
