By the grace and guidance of Allah, hope is renewed, and our mission continues in Al-Afadh Camp, Al-Dabbah, Northern State, for another year.

We are pleased and honored at Sadagaat Charity Organization to announce the continuation of essential health and humanitarian services for another year, serving displaced families from El Fasher, as well as the host community in Al-Afadh Camp and Al-Dabbah, starting in August 2026, with funding and support from the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF).

Since early 2025, Sadagaat has remained alongside the communities in Al-Afadh, providing primary healthcare, referrals, laboratory testing, and medicines. Our work has also included the rehabilitation of Al-Dabbah Hospital, provision of medical equipment and an oxygen network, and training for healthcare workers.

Our interventions have also extended to water, sanitation and hygiene, child-friendly safe spaces, central kitchens, food basket distributions, Ramadan iftar meals, and seasonal Eid Al-Adha meat distributions.

With the launch of the new project, we will continue providing:

  • Primary healthcare and laboratory services.
  • Free medicines and therapeutic nutrition programs.
  • Maternal and child health services.
  • Mental health and psychosocial support.
  • Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) activities.
  • Protection services, including gender-based violence prevention and support for survivors.

The project aims to reach 48,000 displaced people and members of the host community, helping ensure continued access to essential services and strengthening their ability to cope with challenging humanitarian conditions.

We extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF). We also thank our partners who have contributed to supporting our interventions in Al-Afadh: Alight, Save the Children in Sudan, MedGlobal, UNICEF Sudan, Sudani, Sadagaat Canada, and Sadagaat-USA.

We deeply value the cooperation of the Humanitarian Aid Commission, the Ministry of Health, the Northern State authorities and its localities, and the Al-Afadh Camp administration, whose partnership and support have helped ensure that essential services continue to reach those who need them most.
