Duwaina East E-Learning Center in El Obeid, North Kordofan State, has achieved strong results in supporting children to complete their educational curriculum in a significantly shorter period than the standard timeframe.
While completing the curriculum typically takes between six and nine months, the children at the center completed their curriculum in less than four months.
The center, which has a capacity of approximately 90 children, was able to provide learning opportunities for 120 children, achieving a 100% course completion rate. This reflects the children’s commitment to learning and the effectiveness of the learning opportunities provided through the center.
Upon completing the curriculum, the children move on to the bridging phase, an important step that prepares them to return to formal education and continue their learning journey at the next educational level.
This progress highlights the importance of providing flexible learning pathways for children whose education has been disrupted. The impact extends beyond completing the curriculum to supporting children’s transition to subsequent educational stages and strengthening their opportunities to remain in education.
