At Al-Afadh Health Center in Al Dabbah, Northern State, a displaced family from El Fasher welcomed a baby girl whose mother chose to name her “Sadagaat” as a gesture of gratitude for the care and support she received throughout her displacement journey.
The baby was born at the health center supported by Sadagaat Charity Organization, where both she and her mother received the essential healthcare they needed in a safe environment, giving her the opportunity to begin life under better health conditions despite the challenges of displacement.
Baby “Sadagaat's” story represents more than the birth of a child. It reflects the impact that accessible healthcare services can have during times of crisis by ensuring that mothers and newborns receive the care they need when they need it most.
Her story embodies the mission of “Sadagaat's” health programs—to expand access to essential healthcare for communities affected by displacement and emergencies, protect lives, preserve dignity, and give families the opportunity for a safer and more hopeful beginning.
