Sadagaat Charity Organization, with support from the Rapid Response Fund (RRF) of the International Organization for Migration (IOM Sudan) and funded by USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, held an orientation meeting to introduce the emergency water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) assistance project for flood-affected communities in Merowe Locality, Northern State. Additionally, Sadagaat distributed cleaning supplies and mobilized the community for environmental sanitation activities in the Masawi area.
The project aims to provide safe water supplies, ensure access to emergency sanitation facilities, encourage community participation in hygiene and environmental sanitation campaigns, and promote health awareness and education.
The project is expected to benefit approximately 3,500 people.
