Sadagaat Charity Organization continued the field visit program for the delegation from the International Development and Relief Foundation (IDRF), Canada, accompanied by Mr. Nabil Ali, Operations Manager, Mr. Elias Burney, Programs Manager, and Eng. Al-Amin Sabir, Chairman of the Board of Sadagaat Canada.
The visit aimed to provide the delegation with a firsthand overview of Sadagaat’s activities and projects across the sectors of education, health, food security, livelihoods, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). The program included visits to the Al-Baqir Agricultural Project and the Home Gardening Project in Al-Ghaba area, East Nile Locality, as well as visits to wells and agricultural associations in Wad Abu Saleh.
The delegation also visited Al-Afadh Camp and Al-Dabbah Hospital in Al-Dabbah Locality, Northern State, Sudan, to review the humanitarian interventions implemented by Sadagaat in the area. These interventions include medical clinics, hospital support, an e-learning center, safe spaces, and water and sanitation projects. The visit also included participation in the distribution of food baskets at Al-Afadh Camp and in Al-Salama area in Khartoum State.
During the visit, the IDRF delegation was briefed on the current humanitarian situation in Sudan and discussed opportunities for cooperation and partnership to support recovery and reconstruction efforts.
