As part of its health sector projects, Sadagaat Charity Organization, with support from the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF) through Alight Organization, inaugurated the Dabba Locality Clinic. This clinic is one of seven service delivery points under the project titled “Integrated Life-Saving Health and Nutrition Services” for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and host communities in the Dongola and Dabba localities in Northern State, Sudan.
The clinic provides free services, including doctor consultations, reproductive health services, immunization, mental health care, short-term hospitalization, treatment of minor injuries, as well as laboratory and pharmaceutical services.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Executive Director of the locality, the Director of Health Affairs, and members of the local security committee.
A public briefing on the project was held, along with a coordination meeting with the center’s staff.
The clinic is expected to serve approximately 800 patients per month, thereby contributing to the improvement of health conditions for both IDPs and host communities in the area.
