As part of the Multi-Sector Emergency Response Program, and with support from MedGlobal through the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF), Sadagaat Charity Organization implemented a clean-up campaign at Al-Afadd Camp in Al-Dabbah locality – Northern State.
The campaign involved 25 sanitation workers and 8 spraying workers, aiming to enhance health awareness among the camp residents and encourage the adoption of hygiene practices that contribute to reducing health risks and improving their surrounding environment. The spraying activities also focused on combating mosquitoes and flies to limit the spread of disease vectors within the camp.
The launch of the campaign was attended by representatives from the Department of Health Affairs, the Environmental Sanitation Unit, the Ministry of Health, as well as the Deputy Executive Director of Al-Dabbah locality, reflecting the importance of partnerships and coordination among stakeholders working in the humanitarian field.
