Qurbani For Us And For Others 2025
The Qurbani Project carried out by Sadagaat Charity Organization this year (2025 / 1446 AH) was a vivid reflection of the Sudanese community’s unity during times of hardship. The determination of Sudanese people across the globe to uphold the rituals of Eid and send the value of their sacrifices to Sudan was truly inspiring.
Sudanese across various countries made generous contributions through:
Sadagaat-USA,
Hidaya Foundation,
Sadagaat-Canada,
Sadagaat UK,
IDRF Canada,
in addition to Sudanese donors in other countries.
Allah Almighty said:
"That they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known days over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. So eat of them and feed the poor and the needy."
[Qur’an 22:28]
By the grace of Allah, Sadagaat Charity Organization was able to purchase, distribute, and slaughter:
491 cows
220 sheep
across 12 cities, sites, and neighborhoods in 8 states of Sudan:
Khartoum, River Nile, South Kordofan, North Kordofan, Al Gezira, North Darfur, Sennar, and Kassala.
This year, the total number of beneficiaries reached approximately 138,000 people across Sudan.
Sadagaat community extends deep gratitude to everyone who contributed to this cause — individuals, organizations, and initiatives. We especially thank our local partners in the states who worked tirelessly day and night to ensure the Qurbani reached those most in need.
We pray that the contributions of our generous donors have helped ease the burden of war on displaced families and those in need — and that the smiles of children have drawn for us the path toward a brighter future.
