Sadagaat Charity Organization has inaugurated the Al-Alawiyab Al-Samra Water Station in Bahri Locality, Khartoum State, providing access to a sustainable water source for more than 6,000 people, with support from Sadagaat-USA.
The project included drilling a 280-foot deep groundwater well and installing a 7.5-kilowatt solar power system to operate a 10-horsepower submersible pump. It also included the construction of a 1,600-meter water transmission pipeline, along with fencing and protective works for the station.
The project is part of Sadagaat Charity Organization’s efforts to improve access to safe and sustainable water sources, helping meet essential community needs and contribute to more stable living conditions for local residents.
With water now reaching the community, families have greater opportunities for stability and improved daily living conditions, while the new station provides a sustainable resource that strengthens the community’s ability to cope with water shortages.
