مشروع المساحات الآمنة للأطفال
The Safe Spaces Project, in partnership with UNICEF Sudan, provides psychological and social support to children while equipping them with new life skills. This initiative targets children aged 4 to 18 in displacement centers. The project includes training teachers to offer psychological and social support, develop life skills, and provide education in emergencies and Alternative Learning Programs. The concept of safe spaces is to create a child-friendly environment that helps them cope with current challenges, offering support and aiding their learning. For children aged 4 to 7, the safe spaces provide opportunities for playing, drawing, singing, and social interaction with peers. For those aged 8 to 14, the program includes Alternative Learning in Arabic and mathematics, along with life skills development to help them form new friendships and face emerging challenges. For those aged from 15 to 18, safe spaces focus on skill development through clubs and specialized mentors.
