Ramadan Iftar Project is one of Sadagaat Charity Organization's annual humanitarian initiatives implemented across several states in Sudan under its Food Security and Livelihoods Sector. Guided by the values of compassion, generosity, and solidarity that define the holy month, the project delivers iftar meals and distributes Ramadan food packages to vulnerable families, strengthening food security and ensuring they can observe Ramadan with dignity.

Throughout the holy month, Sadagaat provides Iftar meals to fasting individuals across multiple communities. Prepared and distributed daily through the dedication of volunteers and the support of partners, these meals enable people to break their fast with dignity while fostering a sense of belonging and community throughout Ramadan.

Alongside the daily Iftar meal distributions, Sadagaat Charity Organization, with the support of its partners, distributes Ramadan food baskets to vulnerable families across Sudan. Each food basket contains a selection of staple food items that help families meet their daily nutritional needs throughout the holy month. By easing household food expenses and improving food security, these food baskets enable families to observe Ramadan with greater dignity and peace of mind.

At the heart of the project is Sadagaat's Central Kitchens model, where meals are prepared daily in fully equipped community kitchens before being distributed across multiple locations. This approach enables the organization to serve large numbers of beneficiaries while maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, and operational efficiency.

Ramadan Iftar Project is more than a humanitarian initiative—it is a celebration of the spirit of giving that brings communities together. By connecting donors, volunteers, partners, and families in need, the project reminds us that, across Sudan, compassion and solidarity remain among our greatest strengths.
