Sadagaat Charity Organization, with support from UNICEF Sudan and in collaboration with the Ministry of Education in Gedaref State, conducted community awareness campaigns on the importance of education in Al-Hurriya and Wad Shabout communities in Central Rural locality.
The campaigns aimed to raise community awareness of the importance of children’s education and encourage parents and caregivers to enroll their children in available educational opportunities, with particular attention to children who have dropped out of school.
Targeting parents, caregivers, and young people, the campaigns emphasized the role of families and communities in supporting children’s education and encouraging them to continue their learning, particularly amid circumstances that may prevent them from enrolling in or remaining in school.
These efforts form part of broader initiatives to promote access to education, strengthen community participation in protecting children’s right to learn, and help reduce school dropout rates by encouraging children to continue their education.
Sadagaat Charity Organization reaffirms the importance of coordinated efforts among families, communities, and educational institutions to expand educational opportunities for children, recognizing education as a fundamental foundation for developing their potential and contributing to Sudan’s future.
