With generous support from Sadagaat-Canada, in partnership with the Disaster Relief Organization for Rehabilitation and Psychosocial and Community Health Support, and Ahl Al-Khair Charity Association, Sadagaat Charity Organization implemented a project to provide clean water for displaced people from Al-Fashir in the Al-Tawila area. This initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to improve living conditions and respond to urgent humanitarian needs.
The project benefited approximately 7,000 people from displaced families over a period of 45 days by providing a safe water source, contributing to public health and mitigating the negative effects of water scarcity.
Sadagaat-Canada has undertaken the provision of safe drinking water for displaced families from the city of Al-Fashir in the Tawila area, in response to urgent humanitarian needs and in an effort to ensure the right of displaced households to access clean and safe water that protects their health and dignity amid the harsh conditions of displacement.
Within the Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation Sector, Sadagaat Charity Organization inaugurated the “Al-Qutaina – Al-Hay Al-Thamen” Water Station in Al-Qutaina locality, White Nile State, with the generous support of Bashir Al-Nafeedi Charitable Group.
The project included drilling a groundwater well to a depth of 200 feet, supplying and installing a 4 kW solar power system, operating a 5.5 HP submersible pump, in addition to carrying out fencing works for the station.
As part of the E-Learning Project, and with support from UNICEF Sudan, and in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Guidance in Red Sea State, Sadagaat Charity Organization inaugurated three (3) e-learning centers in Port Sudan Locality:

In addition to four (4) centers in Sinkat Locality:
As part of the Resilience Enhancement Project for Returnees and Host Communities, and in partnership between Sadagaat Charity Organization, the East Nile Locality Health System Administration, the Environmental Health Department, and with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Sudan), a comprehensive environmental sanitation campaign has been launched to combat disease vectors in markets across East Nile Locality.
The 10-day campaign targets the areas of:

Um Duwaban
Zaraib Ad Babiker
The campaign aims to improve the local environment and reduce the spread of diseases through activities such as cleaning, waste removal, and spraying to control disease-carrying vectors. It also contributes to promoting public health and raising community awareness about the importance of a healthy environment.
This initiative reflects a shared commitment to supporting returnee and host communities and enhancing their ability to face health challenges through sustainable solutions that have a direct positive impact on citizens’ lives.
