Sadagaat Implements Water and Sanitation Package Distribution at Al-Afada Camp under 48-Hour Response Program

As part of the 48-hour rapid response program for water and sanitation interventions, and with support from Save the Children in Sudan through the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF), Sadagaat Charity Organization, in coordination with the Humanitarian Aid Commission and under the supervision of the Local Emergency and Crisis Committee, carried out a water and sanitation package distribution project at Al-Afada Camp in Ad Dabbah locality, Northern State. The project aims to reduce morbidity and mortality rates among children and their families under the current conditions.

The project targeted 600 families within the camp, providing packages that promote personal and environmental hygiene and ensure safe water access, thereby limiting the spread of diseases, especially in displacement contexts.

The launch was attended by the Executive Director of Ad Dabbah Locality, Mr. Mohammed Saber, Administrative Director Mr. Al-Hassan Ibrahim, representatives from the Emergency and Crisis Committee including Mr. Rami Abdelrahim, and the Health Affairs representative Dr. Kawthar Babiker.

Sadagaat Charity Opens 4 E-Learning Centers in Jebel Aulia, Khartoum State

Under the education pillar, and with support from UNICEF Sudan, in partnership with the State Ministry of Education and the Humanitarian Aid Commission, Sadagaat Charity Organization has inaugurated 4 e-learning centers in Jebel Aulia locality, Khartoum State, as part of the SPEEP project.

  • National Unity Center

These centers represent new spaces of hope and knowledge—opening doors to e-learning for children and bringing them closer to a future filled with education and opportunity.

Sadagaat Charity Opens Al-Wifaq Water Station in Merowe Locality

Under the Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation pillar, Sadagaat Charity Organization has inaugurated Al-Wifaq Water Station in Al-Dagawit village, Merowe locality, Northern State, as an ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) in memory of the late Osama Sayed Ahmed.

The project included the supply and installation of a solar power system with a capacity of 20 horsepower, in addition to fencing and protection works.

In a heartfelt humanitarian gesture reflecting loyalty to their fellow field worker, volunteers from Sadagaat Charity Organization commemorated the late Mohammed Siraj inside the iftar kitchen at Al-Afadah Camp in Ad Dabbah locality, Northern State.

The volunteers printed posters bearing his photo and placed them around the kitchen, where daily iftar meals are prepared for displaced people.

Humanitarian work brings hearts together before institutions. Siraj tragically passed away in a traffic accident while carrying out his duties serving displaced communities at Al-Afadah Camp.

His image remains present… and his humanitarian message lives on.

Sadagaat Charity Organization Opens 8 E-Learning Centers in Gedaref State

Sadagaat Charity Organization has opened 8 e-learning centers across 3 localities in Gedaref State, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Guidance, UNICEF Sudan, and with support from the Global Partnership for Education, as part of its efforts to support children’s education and expand access to learning in targeted communities under the SPEEP project.

The newly opened centers include:

Al Rahad Locality:

  • Hilla Ishaq Center

  • Mekenkina Center

Al Mafaza Locality:

  • Zaqlona Center

  • Al Ateefa (1) Center

  • Al Ateefa (2) Center

  • Wad Al Rawaj Center

Wasat Gedaref Locality:

  • Um Hujeiliga Center

With the opening of these centers, the total number of e-learning centers providing services in Gedaref State has reached 56, including 16 centers under the SPEEP project—marking an important step toward enhancing educational opportunities and access to knowledge for children in the targeted areas.
