Training on early intervention and detection for children with disabilities includes understanding the types of disabilities and effective ways to address them. The training also covered personal hygiene for children, nutrition, how infections are transmitted and prevented, and emphasizes mental health for children with disabilities.

Sadagaat’s Activities under the E-Learning Project

The E-Learning Project is being implemented across 11 states in Sudan, with support from the UNICEF in Sudan

  • Community Outreach and Awareness: Reaching local communities in targeted areas to raise awareness of the importance of education for girls and boys, encourage families to enroll out-of-school children, and promote available E-learning opportunities
  • Enrollment: Identifying and enrolling out-of-school children in E-learning centers, while providing continued support to help them remain engaged, continue learning, and make progress
  • E-Learning Centers: Supporting and providing appropriate learning spaces where children can participate in structured digital learning and continue their education despite challenges affecting traditional education
  • Digital Learning Materials: Providing age-appropriate digital learning content, educational resources, and learning materials to support children throughout their educational journey
  • Teacher Support and Capacity Building: Training and supporting E-learning facilitators and teachers, and providing them with the tools, resources, and guidance needed to deliver effective digital learning
  • Academic Support: Providing additional academic, psychosocial, and social support to help children overcome barriers to learning, strengthen their participation, and improve their educational outcomes
  • Monitoring and Assessment: Monitoring learners’ attendance, participation, and progress, and conducting educational assessments to identify learning gaps and provide appropriate support based on their needs
  • Inclusion and Access to Education: Prioritizing out-of-school children and those at risk of dropping out, including children affected by displacement and those facing barriers to accessing traditional education
