The Oral and Maxillofacial Histopathology Lab.

The Oral and Maxillofacial Histopathology Lab.

The Oral and Maxillofacial Histopathology Lab. at the Faculty of Dentistry in Khartoum University is the only laboratory specialized in oral and maxillofacial diseases in Sudan, receiving about 1,000 samples annually from all over the country,30% of which are malignant tumor (cancers) in children and adults

The laboratory uses a tissue processing device that moves samples in preparation for diagnosis, If the device stops working due to power outage then the samples will be corrupted. To guarantee the laboratory's work is not disrupted and patients’ pain is minimized, an electrical regulatory and storage unit for the tissue processing device is required.

Sadagaat Charity Organization opens donations to provide electricity regulatory and storage unit costs 5,000 USD.

Ahmed Gasim Hospital

Ahmed Gasim Hospital

Waiting lists for cardiac operations for children at Ahmed Qasim Hospital have doubled to reach 700 children, waiting to alleviate their suffering, to lead a normal life as their peers. Sudani Telecompany, through its subscribers in the initiative Belkhair Tafh Bab Belghair, took the initiative to establish the first phase of the project to expand the operating rooms, intensive care and the oxygen network, through which it aimed to separate cardiac operations for children from adults so that surgeries can be performed daily "5 days a week" instead of one day.

As a continuation of these efforts and activating the partnership extending over the previous years, Sadagaat announces the start of the second phase with the establishment of the Intensive Care Unit with a capacity of 6 beds, after which the third phase begins with preparing two operating rooms for children to start the surgeries with the provision of the necessary consumables for fifty operations, and this phase will be announced later.

The estimated cost of the second stage is 210 thousand dollars, equivalent to 35 thousand dollars for one bed for a total of 6 beds.

Expanding the Pediatric Oncology Ward

Children with cancer, despite the pain they endure, carry hope in their eyes and the melody of life in their smiles.

May Allah ease their suffering. When the space around them is limited, may they always find room in our hearts for compassion and care.

Thank you to everyone who helps turn their sorrow into joy and their pain into moments of happiness.
