Pediatric Respiratory Care Support at Omdurman Model Hospital
Ombada Model Hospital receives 80–100 children every day suffering from respiratory illnesses that require a continuous oxygen supply. However, the pediatric department currently has only four oxygen cylinders, which must be shared among patients according to the severity of their conditions.
The project aims to:
Establish an oxygen supply network in the intermediate care unit and pediatric respiratory ward, and add oxygen outlets to the pediatric emergency department
Provide medical equipment for the intermediate care unit and the acute pneumonia ward
Provide blankets and mattresses for the pediatric wards
Provide IV stands, fans, and air-conditioning units for the intermediate care unit, acute respiratory ward, and pediatric emergency department
Project cost: USD 29,452
The Sadagaat community invites you to support this vital project and help ensure children receive the care and oxygen they need.
Children with cancer, despite the pain they endure, carry hope in their eyes and the melody of life in their smiles.
The hospital’s dedicated pediatric oncology ward currently accommodates only 20 children. The facility requires expansion to accommodate twice the current number, along with comprehensive maintenance of the bathrooms, walls, and air-conditioning systems, as well as the provision of refrigerators, television screens, and other essential furnishings.
May Allah ease their suffering. When the space around them is limited, may they always find room in our hearts for compassion and care.
Thank you to everyone who helps turn their sorrow into joy and their pain into moments of happiness.
Project cost: USD 16,340
The project is funded by the Sudanese Childhood Cancer Association and implemented by Sadagaat Charity Organization.
Providing Oxygen Cylinders for Isolation Centers in Gezira State
Isolation centers in Gezira State require approximately 300 oxygen cylinders per day, at a daily cost of SDG 330,000. Supplying and transporting these cylinders from the capital has become a significant burden on the state’s Ministry of Health, particularly as the oxygen is essential for helping COVID-19 patients and critically ill patients breathe and saving the lives of those requiring intensive care.
Your support in providing these oxygen cylinders can help reduce COVID-19 mortality and meet the state’s urgent oxygen needs.
To support this project, donations can be made through:
Installation of a solar-powered water pumping system, including a submersible pump, solar panels with a supporting structure, and a control switch to operate the station and provide a reliable water supply
Installation of a 12 m³ water tank on a 6-meter-high tower
Fencing the water station with a metal fence and constructing drinking troughs for people and livestock
The water station will serve approximately 5,400 people.
