Shab’ana Water Station

Sadagaat Charity Organization has inaugurated the Shabana Water Station in the Al-Gould locality of the Northern State, donated by the Sudanese American Community Organization (SACO) to provide water for approximately 15,000 residents.

 

The project included drilling a groundwater well with a depth of 500 feet, installing a 15-horsepower submersible pump, and setting up a solar energy system

The project aims to provide access to drinking water and sanitation as part of the emergency humanitarian response to the cholera outbreak for displaced persons in shelter centers, as well as for communities in need in Kassala State. The intervention includes:

1. Proper sanitation measures in cholera emergency situations at shelter centers.

2. Promoting sanitation and raising awareness within communities.

3. Emergency water supply for shelter centers.

4. Water supply for vulnerable communities.

5. Supporting the technical staff of the Water Authority and health institutions.

Al Rihab Water Station

Sadagaat Charity Organization has completed the implementation of the Al-Rihab (1 and 2) Water Station supported by Bashir Al-Nafidi Charity Foundation and Sadagaat USA to strengthen the water network in the city of Kassala.

The project involves the establishment of three interconnected water stations to supply clean water to the public network, benefiting over 60,000 residents in Kassala State.

The project targets the city of Kassala in Kassala State, the city suffers from the lack of clean water to cover the needs of residents and displaced due to the war. The project aims to provide access to clean water in areas of need in Kassala by drilling 3 groundwater wells with a depth of 35 meters each, lowering a submersible pump according to the recommendation of the production experience, supplying and installing a solar energy system, fencing and protection works. 

Jabarona Water Station

Sadagaat Charity Organization has inaugurated  Jebrona Water Station in  Dongola locality of the Northern State, donated by Sadagaat USA, providing water for approximately 3,000 residents of the area.

The project was implemented in two phases: In the first phase, a well was drilled to a depth of 550 feet, and a 10-horsepower submersible pump was installed.

The second phase involved the installation of a 45-cubic-meter elevated steel tank, along with a solar power system and fencing works.

 

The total cost of the project was $41,465.
