Northern State Social Affairs Secretary Meets with Sadagaat to Strengthen Humanitarian and Social Cooperation During Visit to Khartoum.

During her current visit to Khartoum, Ms. Manal Makawi Ibrahim, Secretary of Social Affairs in Northern State, met with Sadagaat Charity Organization to discuss ways to strengthen humanitarian and social cooperation, review the organization’s recent interventions in the state, and explore its upcoming plans and programs.

The meeting, attended by Dr. Shiraz Omar Hijazi, Director of Health Insurance in Northern State, highlighted Sadagaat’s efforts to support local communities through education initiatives, student transportation and meals during academic periods and examinations, and social protection programs supporting families and children, including school kits and foster family assistance.

Ms. Manal Makawi commended the organization’s support for families of martyrs, orphans, and vulnerable communities, emphasizing the role of these interventions in easing household burdens and helping children access education.

She also underscored the importance of continued coordination between government institutions and humanitarian and social organizations to ensure that interventions respond to the actual needs and priorities of affected communities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Sadagaat Charity Organization honored the Secretary of Social Affairs in recognition of her efforts to support humanitarian and social work and her contributions to community and humanitarian initiatives.
