As part of the Resilience Enhancement Project for Returnees and Host Communities, and in partnership between Sadagaat Charity Organization, the East Nile Locality Health System Administration, the Environmental Health Department, and with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Sudan), a comprehensive environmental sanitation campaign has been launched to combat disease vectors in markets across East Nile Locality.
The 10-day campaign targets the areas of:

The campaign aims to improve the local environment and reduce the spread of diseases through activities such as cleaning, waste removal, and spraying to control disease-carrying vectors. It also contributes to promoting public health and raising community awareness about the importance of a healthy environment.
This initiative reflects a shared commitment to supporting returnee and host communities and enhancing their ability to face health challenges through sustainable solutions that have a direct positive impact on citizens’ lives.
