The project targets the Buri Al-Mahs area in Khartoum State, which suffers from a shortage of clean, safe, and sufficient water to meet the needs of residents and returnees affected by the conflict. The project aims to provide access to clean water in high-need areas of Buri through drilling a groundwater well with a depth of approximately 600 feet (+/-), installing a submersible pump, supplying and installing a solar energy system, and constructing a protective fence.

After a brutal war that drained both the land and its people, the residents of Buri in Khartoum endured the torment of siege and the bitterness of thirst. Yet life has begun to whisper once more… that Khartoum is healing.
With an unyielding will and the determination of the people of Al-Barari, a spark of hope was ignited. The local community took it upon themselves to build the Buri Al-Mahs Water Station, and the Sadagaat community stepped in to cover the remaining costs.
It is not merely a water well, but a ray of hope that breathes life again—an indication that tomorrow will be better, and that Khartoum, despite all the suffering it has endured, is capable of rising once more… stronger, more radiant, and closer to life.
