Sadagaat Charity Organization has inaugurated Al-Salam Qoushabi Water Station in Al-Dabba Locality, Northern State, with generous support from Sadagaat-USA to provide clean water for more than 2,500 people.
The project included drilling a groundwater well, supplying and installing a solar power system with a capacity of 10 horsepower, a 24-cubic-meter water tank, as well as fencing and protective works.
Relying on solar energy was a vital solution to the water crisis amid frequent power outages in Northern State. The station has contributed to stabilizing the water supply and ensuring its sustainable delivery to residents of the area and neighboring regions.
As part of the education sector and with the support of UNICEF Sudan, Sadagaat Charity Organization has implemented a remarkable humanitarian initiative by distributing clothing for children, as well as essential supplies for girls and protective mosquito nets, in several shelter centers in Wadi Halfa locality, Northern State.
These centers included the college, dormitory, youth hostel, Quranic school, and Nubian theater.
This initiative aims to alleviate the suffering of displaced families and provide essential needs for children and girls, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to supporting education and protecting health in the most vulnerable communities. The project is expected to have a positive impact by contributing to improve the living conditions of displaced individuals, providing protection from mosquito-borne diseases through the distribution of nets, and enhancing educational opportunities for children by supplying them with clothing and essential materials that enable them to continue their education in a more stable environment.
As part of the E-Learning Project supported by UNICEF, Sadagaat Charity Organization installed four solar energy systems for four new community centers in preparation for their inauguration in Blue Nile State.
The centers include:
Al-Mansoura and Al-Imara Roro Centers in North Al-Roseires
To the soul of Mr. Said Abdulhadi Said, may he rest in peace, We have continued on your path, raising your torch that never extinguished, and we carry on the journey you began with your pure spirit and heart that knew nothing but giving. Today, by the grace of God and your tireless efforts, and with the support of UNICEF Sudan, Sadagaat Charity Organization has opened the Qirqaf Center in Wad al-Hilou locality, Kassala State—a place you were on your way to, guided by the dreams of the children who awaited you. Today, it has become their sanctuary of knowledge and light. The center, which began as a dream, has now become a reality. It houses 480 children who look forward to a bright tomorrow and a shining hope. You have departed, but your impact remains eternal, and your work lives on. The fruits of your labor bloom in the minds of these little ones whom you carried in your heart, every letter they learn, every step they take towards knowledge. We pray that this becomes an ongoing charity for you and a mercy that nourishes your pure soul. And we remain faithful to the promise, following in your footsteps…
It is worth noting that Mr. Said was part of the education team at Sadqat and passed away in December 2024 in a car accident while on his way to implement the electronic education centers project in Kassala.
With gratitude to Allah and by his grace, we are honored to share with you the Sadagaat Charity Organization’s Annual Report for the year 2024—a year filled with stories of hope and resilience, despite the harsh realities facing Sudan.
Through your support, you have proven that humanity knows no bounds, and that your solidarity has the power to turn suffering into opportunities for rebuilding.
Key Achievements in 2024:
• 65 million hot meals provided nourishment and hope across 11 Sudanese states. Our volunteers worked under unprecedented security challenges, defying the risks to ensure meals reached every person in need.
• 40 development, humanitarian, and relief projects were implemented within Sadagaat’s core areas of work: food aid, water supply, sanitation and hygiene, health, education, and disaster response. These projects, with a total cost of approximately $11 million USD, targeted those displaced and affected by war, helping to meet essential needs and improve quality of life.
• 55,932 children resumed their education through our e-learning platforms, after war deprived them of access to schools. We created learning opportunities in the harshest of conditions—whether in shelters, host communities, or even under tents—because we believe that education must never stop, no matter the challenges.
• 17 rehabilitated water stations brought clean water within reach of 232,264 people, who had long struggled to secure their daily water needs from distant or unsafe sources.
• Through your generous donations and compassion, Sadagaat reached 1,183,018 people across Sudan. Every hot meal, every drop of water, every medical service, and every educational opportunity provided was made possible by your support. You were our partners in making a difference and driving positive change in their lives.
• The solidarity of Sudanese people, both inside and outside the country, played a significant role in alleviating the burden of war. Their contributions increased by 534% compared to the previous year—an incredible act of generosity amidst immense challenges. These contributions were not just figures, but lives transformed: families living with dignity, children continuing their education, and communities strengthened with resilience.
• One Million Volunteer Hours turned solidarity into tangible impact. Youth & Women distributed food aid, and prepared meals for displaced and war-affected families. These collective efforts did more than ease suffering—they proved that collective action can create real change, even in the most difficult circumstances.
In Conclusion:
Our deepest gratitude goes to everyone who supported us—even with a word of encouragement or a single idea. We extend heartfelt thanks to:
• Our loyal donors who placed their trust in us and turned their contributions into dignified livelihoods for those in need.
