The awareness campaign on the dangers of the misuse of antibiotics which is a joint campaign between Sadagaat Charity Organization and the Sudanese Alliance to combat sepsis, with an awareness campaign that was launched on the eighteenth of November within the awareness week to spread information and awareness. “Our wellness is here” is a message provided by Sadagaat to the community to raise awareness. We hope that we share it together for a community that uses the pill as an antibiotic pill as it should be used.
Sadagaat Charity Organization works to provide the monthly needs of food supplies and distribute them to the three Shelters which are 150 residents, as follows: -
• Shishir Shelter for the Rehabilitation of Children with Mobility Disabilities,80 beneficiaries (January - March).
• Al-Nour institute for 40 visually disabled students.
• Cancer facility for children (Tadae’e),30 beneficiaries.
The total cost of the requirements for the shelters reached 233,007 SDG during the year 2019.
Sadagaat Organization operated Omar Al-Nafidi Center in partnership with the Sudanese American Medical Association and the Al-Nafidi Charitable Group. The organization supervised and periodically monitored the work of the center, paid the cost of running the center continuously, and supported the center with computers and printers, installing a solar power unit to ensure the stability of the electrical current. And providing medical fluids and medicines monthly.
The Sweden Hospital is the only charity hospital specializing in newborn care in Sudan. The hospital receives newborns from the age of one day to less than a month that are transferred from other hospitals or families.
The organization provided the hospital with the following medical equipment to reach the maximum capacity for operation:
Portable custody and fixed custody donated by a monitoring company.
• 5 phototherapy devices
• 5 intravenous pumps.
The organization also contributed to providing training opportunities in the Swedish Hospital for nurses working in the newborn unit.
