Training Workshop for Facilitators as Part of the SPEEP Project

Within the Education Sector, and with support from UNICEF Sudan, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Guidance in Kassala State, Sadagaat Charity Organization conducted a training workshop targeting 13 facilitators as part of the SPEEP E-Learning Project in New Halfa Locality.

The SPEEP Project aims to expand educational opportunities for out-of-school children through flexible e-learning solutions, helping to ensure continuity of education amid the challenging conditions faced by children in Sudan.

Cash-in-Hand Assistance Project for Beneficiaries of The Community Kitchens Program

With support from the World Food Programme (WFP), and in coordination with the Voluntary and Humanitarian Action Commission in Khartoum State, Social Development Departments, and community kitchen supervisors in the targeted localities, Sadagaat Charity Organization implemented a Cash-in-Hand assistance project for beneficiaries of the Community Kitchens Program.

This intervention falls under the Cash for Nutrition Project, which targets pregnant and lactating women and children under five years of age in Khartoum and Jabal Awliya localities, Khartoum State. The project aims to support the most vulnerable households by providing direct cash assistance that preserves human dignity and contributes to improving the nutritional status of the most at-risk groups.

The project reached a total of 3,749 households, benefiting 6,970 individuals from the targeted groups

Sustaining Environmental Sanitation Campaigns at Al-Afadh Camp

Sadagaat Charity Organization continued its ninth cleanliness campaign at Al-Afadh Center in Al-Dabbah, Northern State, as part of the Multi-Sectoral Emergency Response Program, with support from MedGlobal through the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF).

This campaign comes within Sadagaat’s ongoing efforts to promote community responsibility in public health, disease preparedness, and response, by improving the surrounding environment, reducing sources of infection, and raising awareness of the importance of environmental sanitation as the first line of defense for protecting communities—particularly in situations of displacement and emergencie

Launching E-Learning Classrooms and a Safe Space for Children at Al-Afadh Camp

With support from UNICEF Sudan, Sadagaat Charity Organization inaugurated a package of educational and humanitarian interventions at Al-Afadh IDP Camp in Al-Dabbah, Northern State. The initiative included the opening of four e-learning classrooms, benefiting 480 children, with the aim of supporting continuity of education for children affected by war and providing a modern learning environment.

In addition, Sadagaat launched a Child-Friendly Space to deliver psychosocial support services, helping children cope with the impacts of war and offering a safe environment for learning and play.

These efforts come as part of Sadagaat Charity Organization’s vision to strengthen the resilience of war-affected communities and provide better opportunities for displaced children and their families.

Food Basket Distribution for Displaced Families from Bara City

As part of the continued support from Hidaya Foundation, through Sadagaat-USA, Sadagaat Charity Organization has completed its efforts to assist communities affected by displacement. A total of 1,000 food baskets were distributed to families displaced from Bara City in North Kordofan State to El Obeid City, aiming to ease the suffering of affected households and strengthen their resilience amid these challenging circumstances.

Sadagaat Charity Provides Clean Water to 7,000 Displaced People from Al-Fashir, Sudan

With generous support from Sadagaat-Canada, in partnership with the Disaster Relief Organization for Rehabilitation and Psychosocial and Community Health Support, and Ahl Al-Khair Charity Association, Sadagaat Charity Organization implemented a project to provide clean water for displaced people from Al-Fashir in the Al-Tawila area. This initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to improve living conditions and respond to urgent humanitarian needs.

The project benefited approximately 7,000 people from displaced families over a period of 45 days by providing a safe water source, contributing to public health and mitigating the negative effects of water scarcity.
