As part of the project “Enhancing the Resilience of Returnees and Host Communities in East Nile,” implemented with the support of UNDP Sudan, and under the patronage and presence of the Acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock of Khartoum State, Dr. Sir Al-Khatim Fadl Al-Mawla, along with members of his office and senior officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, and in the presence of the Director of Al-Aylafon Administrative Unit, Mr. Al-Tarifi, as well as several civil society leaders, Sadagaat Charity Organization inaugurated a solar power station to operate the East Al-Baqir agricultural water pump.
The solar station has a capacity of 75 kilowatts (equivalent to 100 horsepower) and operates using 160 solar panels. The project aims to support agricultural initiatives and promote the use of clean and renewable energy.
The inauguration ceremony included speeches by representatives of Sadagaat Charity Organization, the Minister, the representative of the locality’s Executive Director, and a representative of the local community. Speakers highlighted the importance of the project in improving water supply and supporting the stability of agricultural activities in the area.
Following the inauguration, the delegation moved to Al-Aylafon area under the Smallholder Farmers Support Project, where agricultural tools and various types of seeds were distributed to beneficiaries to enhance agricultural production and strengthen livelihoods.
The program also included a visit to Abu Zaid Al-Ghaba village, where 30 small farms (small agricultural plot next to their homes) were inaugurated. Beneficiaries received complete agricultural toolkits and assorted seeds, in addition to a 1,000-liter water tank for each farm along with irrigation hoses. This intervention aims to improve irrigation and increase agricultural productivity.

In East Nile Locality, "Mrs. Safiya,” received her share of seeds and agricultural tools, beginning her journey with a small plot of land behind her home—a land that longed to embrace the seeds and nurture crops carrying promise and hope.
This initiative is part of the Home Gardening Project, which supports 30 women, funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Sudan) and implemented by Sadagaat Charity Organization.
In small plots behind homes, these seeds transform into vibrant “Jabaraka gardens”—spaces that restore the fertility of the land and renew the women’s confidence in their ability to produce and sustain themselves.
In Sudan, where challenges are immense and conditions harsh, these seeds are more than just food… They are a message of resilience, a preservation of dignity, and a first step toward a more stable and hopeful future.
With support from UNICEF Sudan, Sadagaat Charity Organization inaugurated a number of learning centers across three localities, reaffirming that education remains the primary source of hope and the safest haven for children in vulnerable communities.

As part of the Health and Nutrition Project, and with support from the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF) through ALIGHT, Sadagaat Charity Organization implemented a capacity-building training program targeting workers in the health and nutrition sectors.
The program trained 20 volunteers working in the Community-Based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM), in addition to 20 health workers operating in clinics who received training on the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) program. The training was conducted in Al-Dabba Locality, Northern State.
The program aims to strengthen the capacities of nutrition volunteers in the early detection of acute malnutrition cases and their effective referral for treatment, as well as to enhance the skills of health workers in applying infection prevention and control standards within health facilities. The training also contributes to improving the quality of health and nutrition care services provided to the community.
As part of the E-Learning Project in Northern State – Abri Administrative Unit, and with support from UNICEF Sudan, children’s clubs were inaugurated at Al-Farouq Primary School in Abri, in the presence of Mr. Ihab Mohamed Ahmed Saleh, Director of the Basic Education Stage, Mr. Gaddafi Ahmed Awad Ahmedoun, Director of the Intermediate Stage, and several school principals.
The launch program featured varied artistic and cultural activities, including singing and dance performances, poetry recitations, and a theatrical play. Additionally, a sports tournament will be inaugurated at a later festival, with 6 participating centers, under the title: “E-Learning Champions League – Abri Administrative Unit.
