Sadagaat Charity Organization organized a health education and emergency workshop for cholera prevention, attended by 32 volunteers in Dongola, Northern State.
The workshop aims to raise awareness about public health, understand the importance and role of health education for individuals and communities, as well as to learn about cholera, its causes, treatment, and prevention measures.
In collaboration with Cisco Networking Academy, Sadagaat Charity Organization has launched the “Sudanese Learning Hub” online education platform.
The platform aims to enable Sudanese students to access dozens of training courses for free, in recognition of the situation caused by the war, which has led to the suspension of universities in Sudan.
“Sudanese Learning Hub” platform offers a diverse range of IT courses with free global certificates from Cisco Academy, helping young people compete in the job market. The courses are divided into self-paced learning and instructor-led sessions to facilitate the learning process.
Sadagaat aims to pave the way for Sudanese students to continue their journey in education and knowledge, equipping them with the latest advancements in information technology.

The Safe Spaces Project, in partnership with UNICEF Sudan, provides psychological and social support to children while equipping them with new life skills. This initiative targets children aged 4 to 18 in displacement centers.
The project includes training teachers to offer psychological and social support, develop life skills, and provide education in emergencies and Alternative Learning Programs.
The concept of safe spaces is to create a child-friendly environment that helps them cope with current challenges, offering support and aiding their learning.
For children aged 4 to 7, the safe spaces provide opportunities for playing, drawing, singing, and social interaction with peers.
For those aged 8 to 14, the program includes Alternative Learning in Arabic and mathematics, along with life skills development to help them form new friendships and face emerging challenges.
For those aged from 15 to 18, safe spaces focus on skill development through clubs and specialized mentors.
As part of the project to provide water and environmental sanitation services for displaced persons in Kassala State, supported by UNICEF Sudan, Sadagaat Charity Organization continued to supply water tankers to 11 health centers in the North Delta locality, at a rate of 330 barrels per week. This initiative aims to alleviate the suffering of obtaining clean water in the region and to ensure the stability of healthcare services that are appropriate for the people of Kassala and those affected by the war.
With the support of Sdagaat USA, Sdagaat Charity Organization has implemented a project to provide medical equipment and devices for Kassala Saudi Hospital. The project includes a 75-liter sterilization device and two anesthesia machines, at a total cost of $37,600.
The number of beneficiaries from this project ranges between 800 to 900 patients per month.
In addition to increasing the daily surgery rate and reducing waiting lists, the sterilization device and anesthesia machines are expected to ensure the safety of thousands of patients, enhance the quality of healthcare in the region, and provide new opportunities for recovery and healing.
