As part of the Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation sector, Sadagaat Charity Organization inaugurated Al-Rakabiya Water Station in Northern State / Merowe Locality, with contributions from the people of Al-Rakabiya area and the Sudanese American Community Organization (SACCO).
The project included the supply and installation of a solar power system to operate a 15-horsepower submersible pump, in addition to fencing and protection works.
With the inauguration of this station, the values of giving and shared responsibility are reinforced. It stands as a testament to the determination of the local community to ensure that the water of goodness continues to flow, quenching the thirst of their people — a lasting legacy passed down to future generations.

With a generous donation from the local community and an initiative by Sadagaat Charity Organization, “Buri Al-Daraisa” Water Station was inaugurated in Khartoum State. The project included drilling a groundwater well at a depth of 600 feet and installing a 20-horsepower pumping system powered by solar energy.
The return of water to “Buri” is not just a service project; it is the revival of hope and the restoration of life in all its meanings. For wherever there is water, there is life.

As part of strengthening collaboration and development partnerships, Sadagaat Charity
Organization, a partner of Mercy Corps and the World Food Programme, is a part of
implementation of the Sudan Transition and Recovery Support Multi-Donor Trust Fund (STARS), managed by the World Bank, in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and under the supervision of the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) in the Northern State.
Within this framework, Sadagaat is implementing “Sudan – Enhancing Community Resilience” Project “THABAT” in collaboration with Mercy Corps.
The project targets four localities in the Northern State: Dongola, Al-Burgaig, Al-Dabbah, and
Merowe. According to the agreement, Sadagaat serves as the national partner in implementing
the project in the state through two main activities:
– Building the capacities of Community Extension Trainers (CETs) and extension officers enabling communities to adopt improved farming practices and apply climate-smart agricultural techniques.
– Identifying and strengthening agricultural input and service suppliers to meet the needs of selected agricultural cooperatives in the Northern State.
Sadagaat affirms that the project is a significant step towards achieving more sustainable
agricultural development and strengthening the role of farmers and agricultural cooperatives as
a cornerstone in boosting production and ensuring food security in the Northern State.

As part of the E-Learning Project, and with the support of UNICEF Sudan and in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Guidance, Sadagaat Charity Organization organized a Life Skills and Children & Adolescents Clubs Workshop for 69 facilitators of e-learning centers in Kassala and New Halfa localities, Kassala State.
The workshop was attended by representatives from UNICEF’s state office and the Ministry of Education and Guidance – Department of Educational Rehabilitation.
The workshop aimed to train facilitators on life skills, enhance methods of engaging with children, promote youth leadership for behavior change, and strengthen as well as develop the facilitators’ capacities.

As part of the Back-to-School campaigns under the Safe Spaces Project in the Northern State, and with the support of UNICEF Sudan, the hands of Sadagaat Charity Organization reached out to children… to their little dreams that deserve to be nurtured with knowledge and to grow inside classrooms.
For them, and for their right to learn in a better environment, Sadagaat provided educational supplies and school materials across four localities: Al-Burgaig, Merowe, Dongola, and Halfa. This support reached 48 schools and 31 adolescent classes, benefiting more than 1,811 children.
Every pen, notebook, and book is a new promise that tomorrow will bring them wider opportunities and a brighter life.

Within the Health sector, Sadagaat Charity Organization inaugurated the Al-Afad Health Center in Ad-Dabba locality – Northern State, with the support of the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF) through Alight Organization.
The center aims to enhance the provision of health and nutrition services for the local population and contribute to improving universal health coverage in the state.
It also represents a significant addition that strengthens access for both displaced people and residents to essential healthcare services such as immunization, reproductive health, nutrition, diagnostic, and treatment services—positively impacting the health and stability of the community.
