Sadagaat Charity Organization has accomplished the project to help the regions affected by floods and rains in the state of Al-Jazeera - Al-Manaqil locality in coordination with the Department of Health Affairs with the support of Save The Children in Sudan, El-Nefedi Group, and Haggar Group by:
- Implementation of vector control campaigns
- Environmental sanitation campaigns to dispose of solid waste and remove dirt complexes in affected areas
- Distribution of saturated mosquito nets
- Distribution of personal hygiene equipment to families and women
- Operation of two mobile clinics in the shelter areas of the affected communities
- Implementation of 12 temporary emergency toilets in the Stadium camp in Manaqil
The campaign included the neighborhoods of Al-Manaqil in addition to a number of villages in the rural units of Al-Manaqil and Karimt.
Sadagaat Charity Organization, with the support of Al-Nefedi Group and in collaboration with the Department of Health Affairs, aided communities affected by floods and rains in Berber locality – River Nile State by:
- Implementation of campaigns to control disease vectors by spray to combat mosquito phases
- Distribution of saturated mosquito nets
- Distribution of containers for drinking water
- Implementation of temporary emergency toilets
With the assistance of MTN Sudan and in collaboration with the Department of Health Affairs, Sadagaat Charity Organization conducted environmental sanitation programs in the effected regions to promote cleanliness, waste collection, and proper waste disposal.
It is worth mentioning that these campaigns included covering 28 areas in Berber locality
Sadagaat Charity Organization has implemented “Al-Jadeed Al-Thawra” water station
The project is a complementation of a water station in Al-Jazeera State includes:
• Installing a 24 m3 GRP water tank
• Fencing and stripes for the station
The number of project beneficiaries is about 5000 residents, in addition to livestock.
The total cost is $18,451.13.
Sadagaat Charity Organization welcomed the second batch of trainees for the year 2022 as part of the “Graduate Training” program. A six-month paid internship is included in the curriculum… The trainees work on a wide range of projects in the following areas: water supply and environmental sanitation, education and health; the training program includes the acquisition of a variety of practical skills and training courses that qualify graduates for the labor market and represent an opportunity to gain experience and skills in development and humanitarian work…
Sadagaat Charity Organization announces the signing of a memorandum of understanding to execute Breast Cancer awareness initiatives with the CAVA Development Organization and the support of the United Nations Population Organization. The agreement covers the training of Sadagaat volunteers to raise awareness of breast cancer risks and the importance of early screening, as well as the establishment of an educational workshop for medical staff and the training of doctors to conduct early screening in the proposed centers, as well as the establishment of a community advocacy workshop to support breast cancer patients’ issues.
Sadagaat Charity Organization, in collaboration with the Zakat Foundation of America and Mecca Hospital, continues its free eye cataract surgeries in Al-Salam Camp in South Darfur-Nyala State.
After 100 procedures in Port Sudan, the second phase of 186 operations in Nyala began.
